ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY TO RECEIVE CINEMACON FEMALE STAR OF TOMORROW AWARD

PARAMOUNT PICTURES TO RELEASE “TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON” ON JULY 1

Washington D.C.  (March 25, 2011) – Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will receive the  “CinemaCon Female Star of Tomorrow Award,” it was announced today by Mitch Neuhauser, managing director of CinemaCon, which will be held March 28-31, 2011, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Huntington-Whiteley will be presented with this special honor at the inaugural “CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards” ceremony to take place on Thursday evening, March 31st in The Colosseum of Caesars Palace. The Coca-Cola Company, Official Presenting Sponsor of CinemaCon, will host the final night gala awards program.



“With her upcoming role in ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon,’ Huntington-Whiteley is sure to show that she is a true star of tomorrow,” noted Neuhauser. “We are thrilled to honor this promising young actress with the ‘CinemaCon Female Star of Tomorrow Award.’”

This Summer will see Huntington-Whiteley make her silver screen debut in the Paramount Pictures release “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” on July 1. Directed by Michael Bay, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” also stars Shia LaBeouf, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Patrick Dempsey, Kevin Dunn, with John Malkovich and Frances McDormand.

Only 23 years-old, Huntington-Whiteley is a top British model who has shot three campaigns for Burberry, DKNY, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and high street giant Karen Millen and is the only British Victoria’s Secret Angel. In addition, she has shot a successful short film with the lingerie label Agent Provocateur and was named best model at the 2009 ELLE Style Awards.
