Applied Art Productions, a distribution company based out of Hollywood, CA, has joined forces with Kreate Films and will be releasing a new romantic comedy named Finding Joy.

Finding Joy is a film about a self-absorbed writer who falls on hard times, has to move back into his parents’ home and is forced to rediscover himself. While redeveloping this new sense of self he uncovers a new meaning of what it means to be happy when he meets Joy, a spirited energetic young woman who asks him to write her obituary.

The amazing cast of this spirit lifting film includes Josh Cooke (Dexter), Liane Balaban (Supernatural), Lainie Kazan, Barry Bostwick, Arielle Hoffman, Kiki Harris, and Tyler Bunch.

Written by Shona Tuckman, this witty film about finding love and happiness also encompasses the theme of finding one’s self identity.  It's a theme that any film lover can relate to.

Finding Joy will be released on a limited release in March 2013.
